VIP area at Madrid Horse Week

We decorated the VIP area of Madrid Horse Week at IFEMA, together with WP Madrid. Over 3,000 printed filament parts, 80 resin horses for the VIP tables and 1,000 pins. All in under a month.

The brief

A trade fair does not wait. The venue opens on the day it opens and the VIP area has to be up, down to the last detail, when the first guest walks in. This was not one big piece: it was three commissions at once — sculptures, table centrepieces and merchandising — and a single month for all three.

How we did it

01 · The horse sculptures

Large-format horses assembled in sections, with a white finish and a breakdown designed to transport and assemble them on site. Over 3,000 printed filament parts left the workshop for this installation.

02 · Eighty horses for the tables

Eighty resin pieces, identical to each other and with the fine detail that holds up close, because on a VIP table the piece is seen from a hand's width away. Series production with a one-off finish.

03 · A thousand pins

A thousand pins for the guests in the VIP area. It is the kind of detail people take home and show off, and the one most underestimated when planning an event.

The result

Three different formats — a large-format sculpture, a run of eighty and a batch of a thousand — coming out of the same workshop and arriving on the same day.
