Three metres do not fit through a door. The piece is designed broken down from the start, so it can be built, transported and assembled without the joins showing.
In a parade someone has to move it. The inside is lightened as much as the structure allows, without losing rigidity where the piece will take knocks.
Hand painting with high contrast and gradients that work from a distance. In a parade fine detail is invisible: what you see is the silhouette and the colour.
